Abstract: There is a lack of literature and study for emotions other than worry on how people feel about the United States.
As a result, this study seeks to better understand the association, if any, between political parties and feelings, such as hope and whether the country is going on the right track. The study seeks to analyze 1. the relationship between political parties and feelings towards the United States; and 2. understanding whether or not these feelings have any impact on voting behavior in relation to how participants within the post-election survey voted for president.
