Abstract: As a major factor in how people seek treatment, anxiety is important to examine when evaluating the effectiveness of treatment methods for substance use disorders. If individuals with substance use disorders and anxiety favor some treatments over others, that would indicate an area of innovation to better cater to those people, especially as that population grows, or simply widen the availability of that form of treatment.
